Ilana Palmer is a learning and development expert with 15+ years of experience helping individuals gain the skills and confidence to succeed in academic and professional settings. At Duke University, she coaches students and young professionals in areas such as writing, public speaking, and behavioral interviewing. She also designs skills-focused workshops and curricula, guiding students and colleagues in areas like GenAI tools, professional communication, and intercultural competence.
With degrees from Harvard University (BLA, Psychology) and Boston University (MEd, TESOL), as well as certification as a Curriculum & Instructional Specialist from Meredith College, Ilana brings both academic insight and practical strategies to every session. She’s passionate about empowering university applicants and job seekers to reach their communication goals through clear, engaging, and transformative coaching and workshop experiences.
